The BLoubird foundation was created in honor of Harper Lou Covington. She taught us that even the smallest of children deserves a say in the fight for their lives. Our goal is to give all fighters a choice!
The BLoubird Foundation was created by Shealynn and Cade, in loving memory of their daughter, Harper Lou, who courageously battled an aggressive form of leukemia. During her seven-month fight, Harper found joy in bringing smiles to other children in the hospital—often by sharing fun, patterned medical tapes she called “Tubie Tape.” These small moments of choice brought a sense of comfort and control during a time filled with uncertainty.
Today, BLoubird continues Harper’s legacy by designing and distributing custom-printed, medical-grade tapes to children fighting cancer. Made with gentle materials and printed using sublimation technology, each sheet of tape is crafted to be kind to sensitive skin while offering a burst of color and personality. Whether used for NG tubes, central lines, or other medical needs, BLoubird's tape gives kids a small but meaningful way to express themselves in the midst of their treatment.
